I Was Never Alone

Once I lay on a bed not knowing I was there.Family and friends were praying earnestly. He cared for me.Guided His servants, told them what to do.

I was never alone.

Whose body and mind is this I don’t recognize. A task I had. With my eyes on Jesus, my race I ran.Ups and downs and always a trial.

I was never alone.

Continued infarcts right ,left ,front and back, all areas affected.Many are comatose neurology told me. That I am not, I am thankful.Cardiology says, not the same person. I am alive, can only be one reason.

I was never alone.

My mind and body have been renewed.With adversity came knowledge, then insight. Keeping my eyes on Jesus, my race I ran.

I was never alone.

Perseverance it took each time I was brought down.Sometimes the struggles were hard, too hard for me to bear.But the potter was still working on me, He had more for me to do.

I was never alone.

Promises kept by our Father above, the Spirit of truth filled my mind and body.I ran my race rejoicing and giving thanks to God above.Adversity brings knowledge, insight and Glory to God my Father.

I was never alone.

Blood thick, hole in my heart, not alone from my start. Promised to abide in us if we abide in Him. I ran my race rejoicing and giving thanks to God always.

I was never alone.

Believe, have faith, accept His love. Fill your life with joy, peace, strength and courage. Giving thanks for what He has done.

You will never be alone.
