I have shared my peony blooms before and it will always be one of my favorite flowers. To me, it does remain lovely after losing its petals and only the seed pod is left. I have shown pictures of that before on the blog. But even with the beauty that brings to us, the fact remains that it’s here for just a short time. It is so wonderful that we can say and rejoice in knowing that God’s love remains, and is here with us forever.

Gay, your peony is beautiful. Always one of my favorites. Thinking about your post and flower, I always thought a peony lasted through the summer months, but realize you are right, they are here and gone so fast. Kinda like the seasons of life we go through. You think they last for a long time, but before you know it, a different one is upon us. Thankful no matter the day or season, the Word of God is constant and last forever. Thank you for sharing your peony and thoughts 🙂
