“Last year on the trip south, one of my hummingbirds said, “Hey Mr Goldfinch, I know where there are a lot of zinnias. Just stick with me and I’ll take you to them next year.”
Mr. Goldfinch did just that and they made the trip this year to the zinnias.
He is stripping the petals off of my zinnias to get to the seeds. Almost all of the petals are off of the flower behind him. Yummy seeds! The Beautiful American Goldfinch
O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth! Psalm 8:8 (NASV)
I stand amazed in your presence.
Knowing the majestic wonder of your greatness.
Feeling the touch of your hand,
As you stand beside me, walk with me,
And guide my way.
Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:4-5 (NKJV)
I thank you Jesus
For this day in a new year
You have given to me.
I will rejoice and boast about You; I will sing about Your name, Most High.
Psalm 9:2 (HCSB)
Help me today Lord
To keep my thoughts on You.
May each thing I do,
And each thing I say,
Give honor and praise to You.
For Your love to share.
IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS. (PROV 3:6 KJV)
Seeking His guidance.
Acknowledging and trusting Him.
Peace forever more.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (HCSB
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths.
Only one reason.
For you and I, it’s the same.
God, gave us the day.
Psalm 118:24,29 (HCSB)
24 This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
29 Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His faithful love endures forever.
One afternoon while sitting on my front porch, I noticed this Stick Bug. I knew that it was certainly lost from its natural habitat. I felt there were lessons that I and maybe others could learn from this Stick Bug.
AS I SEE YOU THERE
I wonder as I see you there,
How lonely you must be.
Far away from your home,
Your surroundings so strange indeed.
I watch you as you struggle to move,
Just to go a little more.
Can a lesson be found,
Maybe one about loneliness?
Giving thanks to God always,
That people never have to feel alone.
Hebrews 13:5-6 (HCSB)
5 Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you. 6 Therefore, we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper: I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
Early spring flowers bring smiles to many faces. The rose always gives a fresh fragrance to the air as you walk by. The yellow water lily is in our fish pond. I spent a lot of time trying to get a picture of this bumble bee. He finally stopped long enough in an area for me to get a picture. So this bumble bee brought a smile to my face.
